NDPC Commemorates 20 Years of Preparedness Through Training
This year marks the 20th year since the establishment of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium, or NDPC, which has made a substantial impact on the nation's preparedness. Since 1998, NDPC training has benefited more than 2,746,418 participants in all 50 states and each U.S. territory. In fiscal year 2017 alone, 173,951 participants were trained.

LSU-NCBRT Now Offering Updated Course
Louisiana State University's National Center for Biomedical Research and Training is now scheduling its updated "Site Protection through Observational Techniques" course. This course update includes many changes.

Experts Use CAMEO Suite to Provide Vital Data to Hurricane Harvey Response Teams
Instructors with the Louisiana State University National Center for Biomedical Research and Training worked together with colleagues to use data from the "Introduction to Computer-Aided Management of Emergency Operations (CAMEO) Suite" classes taught in the area affected by Hurricane Harvey to identify chemical storage facilities in the hurricane's aftermath.
